Color Asian Tropics Green – From innovative lighting, heating and cooling to recycling water and materials, the completion of Asian Tropics will make Denver Zoo a world leader in sustainability. Skylights (right) and windows will provide natural light to 75 percent of indoor spaces in Asian Tropics. Denver Zoo Brings Live Animal Experiences to Community – Visit with Denver Zoo animals from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 13 in Cheesman Park, as we support AIDS Walk Colorado, the Rocky Mountain Region's largest and most successful HIV and AIDS fundraiser. Denver Zoo's Outreach progams also visit schools, daycare and senior living facilities, libraries, recreation centers and more.
