Go Batty at Asian Tropics – Bats are a popular animal at Denver Zoo this time of year - Halloween is just three days away and Boo At The Zoo is this weekend. When Asian Tropics opens in late spring 2012, two new species of flying foxes will be introduced to the zoo. Inside El Pomar Foundation Village Hall, visitors will notice there is no barrier between the public and the flying foxes. These fruit-eating bats are shy and their nature is not to approach people.
