What do you know about okapis? -
Denver Zoo is home to four Okapis, a species so shy that they weren't even discovered until 1901! Many people think they look like zebras, but they're really the last living relative of giraffes! They're native to the Ituri tropical rainforests of central Africa, and have dark brown velvet coats with horizontal white stripes on their legs and rears that help them hide in the shadows. Learn more about them here.
