Celebrate International Polar Bear Day - Today is International Polar Bear Day and Denver Zoo and Polar Bears International invite you to take the Thermostat Challenge by turning down the temperature in your home by two degrees to preserve polar bear habitat. Even this small adjustment can reduce our carbon footprint and slow, or even reverse, climate change which causes sea ice to melt. Join this event on our Facebook page and be entered to win fabulous prizes, including a behind-the-scenes tour. See a video here of Denver Zoo polar bear Cranbeary taking a bite out of a special ice sculpture to show her support for the Thermostat Challenge!
