Career Panel - Zoo Career Exploration for Teens

Ages 11 - 17

Have you wondered what it’s like to work at a zoo?  Check out the new Career Panel program for middle and high school students interested in participating in a career exploration at Denver Zoo in a more intimate setting.  Learn more about what working in a zoo is all about by connecting with individual zookeepers and other staff as you find out more about their day to day tasks and their career path.  Engage in question and answer sessions and meet one of our charismatic animal stars. Each date will offer a similar experience but a new mix of speakers.

The February 28th panel will highlight horticulture and zoo keeping, April 2nd will highlight veterinary medicine and zoo keeping, and April 23rd will highlight sustainability and zoo keeping.

These programs are offered in the spring each year.  Please choose a panel date that is ideal for your schedule and register online.  Please note that this program is available for teen participants only OR a teen and one adult chaperone.
