"In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous." —Aristotle

It is important for us all to take action to help save our planet and the wonderfully diverse wildlife it houses. While the task may seem impossible at first, little choices we make every day can have a HUGE impact. It's easy for one person to feel overwhelmed and question "how can I make a difference?" Yet, there are many things you can do. Decisions on where you shop, what you eat, and how you get around town all make a difference.
As we usher in a new decade, we should all act responsibly towards the environment and strive to become more earth-friendly in all that we do. Scientists have identified five main threats to biodiversity on Earth, summarized by the acronym H.I.P.P.O.
|
H = Habitat Destruction
I = Invasive Species
P = Pollution
P = Population Growth
O = Over-Consumption
