At Denver Zoo we enhance the lives of our animals by providing them with mental and physical stimulation to promote natural and healthy behaviors. We challenge our animal's bodies and minds to keep them active and engaged.

Denver Zoo is one of only a few zoos in the country that has a full-time curator dedicated to our animal behavior and enrichment programs. Enrichment encourages animals to behave as they would in the wild. Our program encourages activities like digging, tracking scents, swimming, dusting, climbing, foraging and playing.
