Denver Zoo's Wish List

By donating an item on Denver Zoo’s “Wish List,” you can be recognized as a zoo donor, qualify for a charitable deduction, and provide needed supplies and materials that enrich the environment for our animals and support the Zoo’s many programs and activities – from education classes to grounds maintenance and everything in between!  Currently, we can use the following items:

• Spotting Scopes
• Rubbermaid storage bins (14 to 25 gallon)
• Jumbo wheeled Rubbermaid storage bins
• Bench drill – 3/4” or 3/8”
• Feather dusters
• Baby mobiles, rattles and other toys
• Children’s bubble bath (non toxic)
• Scents/essential oils and old/cheap perfume -- unopened
• Kitchen spices and extracts (peppermint, vanilla, etc.) – unopened
• Canned tuna and salmon in water
• Folding chairs
• Stall Snacks
• Manila rope (1/2” or wider)
• Boomer balls (brown)
• Side walk chalk
• Coco mats (natural fiber “welcome” door mats
• Blankets and Towels
• DVD players
• Nature and/or children’s DVDs and videos
• Binoculars
• Palm pilots
• GPS units
• Compasses
• Portable CD player and/or radio
• Network based cameras
• Digital cameras (point and shoot)
• Refrigerators (including under counter model)

• Cordless drills and basic tools
• Leatherman-type pocket tools
• 2-wheeled wheelbarrow/garden cart
• Atlas gardening gloves (all sizes)
• Small tiller
• 8 to 10-foot ladder
• Snow shovels
• Snow blower
• Electric leaf blowers
• 100” heavy duty extension cords (for leaf blowers)
• Small portable oxygen generator
• Camping equipment for keeper staff use in emergencies (back packing stove and cooking utensils, self-inflating air mattresses, head lamps, Swiss army knives or multiuse tools, and emergency wind up or shake-type flash lights) 
• Golf cart
• Olympus bronchoscope
• Gift cards for pet supply, grocery and home building stores
• Check or credit card gifts can be designated for purchase of items on the “wish list.”
