 Thank you for considering Denver Zoo as a recipient of a memorial or tribute gift in the name of a friend or family member. Memorial and tribute gifts are wonderful ways to honor a loved one while supporting their connection with wildlife. Checks can be made out to Denver Zoological Foundation and in the memo section please write who the gift is in memory or in honor of. You can also make a memorial or tribute gift on-line by clicking here.
All memorial and tribute gifts will be listed in Denver Zoo’s publication, On the Wildside. The zoo also will send a handsome acknowledgment certificate on behalf of the loved one’s family. The family is notified of each gift made (without specifying the amount.)
Many families also choose to pool funds in order to establish long-term recognition for a loved one. For example, you can adopt a bench at Denver Zoo in memory or in honor your loved one. Benches are available for donations totaling $2,500 or more.
Conservation Carousel Animal Adoptions are also available for donations totaling $5,000 or more. Sculptures in the zoo’s entry plaza can also be adopted for donations totaling $10,000 or more.
