Cost: For program dates from 1/1/2008 to
5/31/2008 $150 per program
For program dates beginning 6/1/2008 $175/first program, $100 each additional consecutive program.

- Scholarships are available through Denver Zoo's Red Apple Fund.
- Please book at least 2 weeks in advance.
- A cancellation fee of 50% of program costs applies with less than 2 weeks notice.
- Outreach only-Layover fees may apply to multiple programs.

Remarkable Reptiles (Grades K-6)

- Explore the reptilian science of live snakes, lizards, turtles and crocodilians!
- Participate in a variety of amazing activities as we venture through the scaly world of reptiles.
Marvelous Mammals (Grades K-6)

- Investigate what makes mammals so marvelous through close encounters with live creatures!
- Play games and have fun while learning about life and the wonderful world of mammals.
Bird Basics (Grades K-6)

- Discover how amazing our feathered friends really are by getting up close and personal with live birds.
- Learn about bird flight, communication, adaptations & other incredible facts through engaging demonstrations and activities.
African Safari (Grades 1-4)

Geography 1.2, 2.2
- Migrate through Africa, from the Serengeti plains to the Congo rainforest basin, learning about a variety of biomes along the way.
- Meet a diversity of African animals up close, and explore some of Africa's unique cultures.
Awesome Australia (Grades 1-4)

Geography 1.2, 2.2; History 6.1
- Journey to the land down under to discover the people, places, environments and wildlife of Australia.
- Investigate animal adaptations for life in Australia's diverse biomes as you get face-to-face with live animals.
- Listen to aboriginal folktale storytelling and explore native artifacts.
Amazing Adaptations (Grades 3-5)
Science 3-5: 3.1, 3.8
- Learn about adaptations by dressing a classmate up as an animal.
- Explore the difference between physical and behavioral adaptations.
- Work in teams at interactive stations to further investigate animal adaptations.
Colorado Alive! (Grades 3-6)

- Meet live Colorado native wildlife and perform hands-on investigations with horns, antlers, skulls, skins and more.
- Explore the interactions of living and nonliving components in Colorado's environments.
- Discover the importance of adaptations for life in Colorado's plains, mountains, and cities, and learn about patterns of wildlife distribution.
Raptors Revealed (Grades 3-6)

- Dissect owl pellets in a hands-on lab to scientifically explore raptor diets.
- Meet an incredible live bird of prey.
- Discover the adaptive tools raptors have to be successful predators in their environment.
