CHILDREN’S CONSERVATION THEATER:
A dramatically unique way to learn about animals
CCT FOR SCHOOL GROUPS:
This unique early childhood education program combines live animals, puppets, and zoo educators to engage your students in exciting age-appropriate topics.
Who: Students in Grades PreK – K
Where: Denver Zoo
When: November – April, Class times vary (each program is 30 minutes)
Cost: $100/first program; $75 each additional.
Things to know:
- Scholarships are available through Denver Zoo's Red Apple Fund.
- Please register 3 weeks in advance, as classes book quickly!

- Cancellation of Programs at the Zoo:
Classes and programs canceled or rescheduled with less than 2 weeks notice prior to the scheduled program will be charged 50% of the total cost. Red Apple Scholarship awards will not apply to cancellation fees.

- Go on safari and explore various animals from across this great continent as your travel through desert, savannah and rainforest ecosystems.
- Meet live animals and learn about animal adaptations and habitats with your safari guide.
M is for Mammal
Science K-2: 1.1, 3.1, 3.5
- Join this kooky cast of animals as they audition to be a mammal!
- Let your students judge the auditions while they learn the basic characteristics of the different animal groups.
- Experience live animals, puppets, and entertainment as the discovery begins.
