Zoo Ed-venture Treks
Take the learning from the classroom to the field, as zoo educators lead your students on an educational journey through Toyota Elephant Passage on a Zoo Ed-venture Trek! These immersive programs are aligned with Denver Zoo’s Toyota Elephant Passage Field Trip Discovery Units and Colorado Academic Standards. They take place entirely in Toyota Elephant Passage, with opportunities for observation, inquiry and discovery.
Who: Up to 30 participants
When: Available Mon-Fri, 10 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m. (max of three classes per day)
Cost: $7/student; Smaller groups will be charged for a minimum of 15 students

Journey through tropical Asia, as you discover how animals influence culture and contribute to a region’s uniqueness.
Grade 4
A Trek through the Tropics
Investigate how Asian tropical ecosystems are similar to and different from other ecosystems around the world, including those in Colorado.
Grade 5
Healthy Human, Healthy Animal*
Compare the management of healthy human body systems with the management of healthy animal
body systems.
