Dig a little deeper into animal and environmental topics through hands-on investigations, animal observations and encounters, zoo tours and fun activities designed for kids wanting to explore more of the zoo.

Wildlife Trainer
Have you trained your dog to fetch you a donut – without eating it first?  Have a cat that comes to you on command?  You’re cut out to be an animal trainer!  Learn what it takes to shape the behavior of animals, and test your own skills at our training game and agility course.  Then meet an animal trainer from our Wildlife Show and see some of our animal stars in action!

Junior Explorers classes go on hiatus for the summer in June, but will be back again next fall!  Plan to visit your favorite animal friends and continue your learning at fun family events throughout the summer.  Visit our Events page for more info!
