KinderQuest
4-5 year olds, on their own

Children delve into the amazing animal world through animal encounters and observations, zoo tours, interactive activities and sensory experiences.  KinderQuest is an opportunity for your child to practice social skills, learn about animals and have fun at the zoo with other children of the same age, without parents.

One session per day $20 members/$22 non-members
Two sessions on Friday (with supervised lunch time Noon-1pm) $42 members/$46 non-members

Predator! – Seals and Sea Lions
These water-based predators make their living by stalking their prey in icy polar waters and ocean depths.  Learn the how-to’s of being a sea hunter from the seals and sea lions at Denver Zoo!

Superman-imals
It’s a bird…  It’s a plane…  No, it’s Superman-imals!  Meet the superheroes of the animal world, with super-speed, super-strength and super-stealth.  Superhero costumes encouraged!

Buggin’ Out
There are more insects than any other animal on the planet!  Bugs are everywhere, even at the zoo!  From ants to millipedes and everything in between, learn all about the weird, wonderful world of bugs!

Brrrrrr!  Take the chill out of winter as you cozy up to the warm and furry snow leopard and Amur tiger.  Find out more about these cool cats that are built for life in the snow!

Dynamic Dogs
They yip! They howl!  They roam as a pack.  Discover the ups and downs of life as a dog, as we visit the zoo’s Arctic wolves and African wild dogs.  Come with your tail waggin’!

If I Ran the Zoo: Zookeeper
Try our new play-based class for KinderQuest!  Dress up in zookeeper garb and pretend with us as we find out what would happen if you ran the zoo… Would lions eat ice cream? Would elephants play soccer?  Play along as we learn what the best choices for animal care really are.

I Can Do It: Taking Care of Pets
Woof!  Meow! Splash!  Meet animals that make great pets to keep at home.  Learn what things make an animal a good pet, practice caring for them, and get in a few snuggles, too.
