Self-Guided Field Trips
Visit Denver Zoo at your own pace with your school group. The zoo offers a variety of daily programs included with admission, including animal feedings and demonstrations. Volunteers are often stationed throughout the zoo to educate your students.
Visits may be scheduled Monday-Friday, year-round, during normal business hours.

Reserving Your Field Trip
To reserve your field trip, download the reservation form and fax it to the Education Department at 303-376-4880. You may also call the Field Trip Hotline at 303-376-4810 to request a reservation form be faxed to you.
Field trip requests must be received AT LEAST 2 weeks before your intended visit date. This allows Denver Zoo time to process your request and send out confirmation materials. Your field trip reservation is not complete until you receive a confirmation in the mail. If you do not receive your confirmation within a business week, please call 303-376-4810 or email registration@denverzoo.org. Book early! Some dates in April and May fill.

Plan Your School’s Visit to the Zoo!
Teachers may visit Denver Zoo free to plan their school’s field trip. Download and bring to the zoo an Educator Planning Coupon, along with proof of educator status, such as your school identification or pay stub. The coupon cannot be used on the day of your school’s visit.
Non-Reserved School Group Rate
Schools groups without a reservation will be subject to pay the non-reserved school group rate.
