TotTrekkers: 2 - 3 year olds with adult

Play-based activities, animal visits, age-appropriate crafts and fun stories make this a special time for tots and parents to learn about their favorite Denver Zoo animals.  Classes are open to 2-3 year olds with adults only.  Please consider our Family Book Club offerings for classes where toddlers and infants can attend together.

W is for Wolf
Howl at the moon and run with the pack as you learn about Denver Zoo’s two wolf species – the maned and arctic wolves. Next in our continuing alphabet series for toddlers.

When I Grow Up I Want to Be a Zoo Vet!
Want to perform check-ups on cheetahs? Examine the tonsils of tapirs?  Come pretend with us at this popular class.  Through play-based activities and animal visitors, children will learn how veterinarians care for animals at the zoo!
