It is in a child’s nature to want to explore… Denver Zoo is excited to offer our new programming for young children: Early Explorer Expeditions! These highly interactive, nature play based programs foster deep and meaningful connections with animals and inspire children to explore the natural world.

Through hands-on experiences, zoo exploration, investigation and play we will cultivate connections between children and the world around them.

Our first 4 part series “Sensational Senses” is designed for your 2-4 year old child (and one engaged adult). In this series children will explore the natural world through their senses and discover how animals use those same senses in similar and different ways. Meet a new animal during each “expedition” as we focus our investigations on how senses are used to navigate the world.

This is the last class in this series.
