Celebrate your next birthday in the African grasslands, the Rainforest canopy or surrounded by scaly friends with a Denver Zoo themed birthday party!
Select your theme - African Adventure, Rainforest Exploration or Rockin’ Reptiles – and your party package will include:
- Wild invitations with envelopes
- Day long admission for up to 12 guests (10 children & 2 adults)
- 1 hour and 30 minutes in a private celebration room
- Themed Animal Encounter with one of the zoo’s educational animals and a themed biofact program
- Themed activity books
- Themed tablecloths, plates, napkins and plastic utensils
- Goodie bags for children
- One carousel or train ride for each guest (weather permitting)
- Discount coupon for the Kibongi Market Gift Shop
- Special gift for guest of honor
The Zoo can provide cupcakes, ice cream and drinks for each of your guests for a small fee, or you are welcome to bring in your own cake and ice cream. The zoo does not allow any other outside food or dink in its birthday celebration room. Lunch option: Add on large cheese pizzas for $9.95 each.
Birthday packages are $295. Additional party guests beyond 12 can be added at a cost of $11 per child and $9 per adult. Birthday child is free for members of the Zoo. Due to space restrictions, your guest list must not exceed 25 people. Prices subject to change.
Birthday celebrations can be scheduled at one of the following times on Saturdays and Sundays on a first come, first served basis.

To register for a Zoo It Yourself or Wild Themed party package please call (303) 376-4842 or email birthday@denverzoo.org to reserve your birthday party today. Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required at the time the reservation is made. The remaining balance, along with your final guest count, is due three days prior to your party date. Party room is solely chosen by Denver Zoo. Party package payments are non-refundable and party times are firm.
To ensure the safety of our animals, no balloons, streamers, stickers, straws, glitter or confetti are allowed inside the Zoo. |
