Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and their families are invited to the Zoo for a special after-hours event that meets scout requirements.  Delve into the amazing adaptations of nocturnal animals as you watch the sunset and explore the Zoo at night.  Don’t miss up-close animal encounters, an after-dark safari with real night vision scopes, free carousel rides and treats, crafts, activities, entertainment and Scout Night commemorative patches!

A note about glow necklaces and lanyards:
If you are planning to utilize glow jewelry or glow sticks for your troop or pack after dark, please advise them it is important to keep them on your person.  The chemicals inside and the plastic itself can be harmful to the animals if left on the ground.  Anyone observed tossing glow sticks or other materials into exhibits will be asked to leave.  Thank you for helping keep our animals safe!
