AFTER HOURS EVENTS
Are you looking for a new way to say "thank you" to your employees or clients? Interested in hosting a jungle themed soiree? Want to say "I Do" in a unique and wild way? There's no better way to celebrate than offering your family, friends & co-workers a night they will never forget at Denver Zoo!
The entire zoo is available or you may choose between one of three separate event zones, giving you the flexibility to choose from a variety of experiences surrounded by the Zoo's distinctive exhibits at twilight.
Denver Zoo's after-hour event zones (Northern Shores and Conoco Zoo Gardens) offer two unique settings for your wild bunch. With the zone model Denver Zoo is able to provide the ideal location for a variety of events with very different needs.
Toyota Elephant Passage exhibit can be added to your event experience for an additional fee. If you rent a zone and choose to add access to Toyota Elephant Passage you will share access of the exhibit with other groups in the other zones. Toyota Elephant Passage can only be bought as an exclusive event space if the entire Zoo is rented out. Buy- outs are only available on Saturdays.
Evening rentals occur from 6:30pm to 10pm with zoo access. Daytime zoo access is available for evening events for an additional fee. Please call to inquire for pricing. Admission into Denver Zoo is included with your rental fee up to the banquet capacity of the space. Guests ages 3 and above require an admission ticket for entry. Additional tickets may be purchased at a highly discounted rate of $7.50 per person.
For evening events, access to the zoo is available from May to September and in the month of December for Zoo Lights. During evening events specific animal exhibits will be open based on the rented zone and may be subject to change for animal comfort or safety. The following exhibits will be open until 9:00 p.m. Pachyderm House, Pahali ya Simba, Giraffe House, Emerald Forest (dusk or 8:30), Great Apes(dusk or 8:30), Elephant Parlor and Village Hall when all zones are rented out.

Sections of Norgren Hall are available after hours without zoo access in the months of October to April
Norgren Hall (2 Rooms) Includes 88 admission tickets
Capacity: 160 people theater style / 88 people banquet style/ 120 cabaret style no seating
After Hours (October-April) (No Zoo Access): $1050
Groups of 100-200
Located inside the Gates Education Center, Norgren Hall is our main indoor facility with large floor to ceiling windows and provides a spectacular view of Predator Ridge and the Gerenuk exhibits. It is equipped with a sound system, IPOD access, dimmer lights and can be broken down into three separate rooms to meet your needs. A podium, screen, projector and microphone are available and are included in your rental. Rental hours may be extended for an additional fee. Rental times are based on availability.

Samburu Patio(Limited Zoo Access)Includes 250 admission tickets
This garden patio overlooks Denver Zoo’s award winning Predator Ridge exhibit home to Denver Zoo’s lions, Hyenas and African Wild dogs. Samburu Patio is ideal for a cocktail party or a small reception.
After hours 6:30-10pm (This includes access to Predator Ridge, Pahali Ya Simba, Pachyderm buildings as well as front portion of Zoo grounds. Access to other areas outside of the zone is prohibited.)
Up to 250 people: $3750
Addition of Toyota Elephant Passage access: $2000
 Groups of 200 or more
For evening events, access to the zoo is available from May to September and in the month of December for Zoo Lights. Conoco Zoo Gardens serves as our main outdoor venue and is a beautiful garden area spanning over an acre featuring a spacious covered picnic pavilion and two gazebos. The venue provides both covered and outdoor garden space. Depending on the size of your party, you can rent half of the pavilion or the entire facility.
Conoco Zoo Gardens (Limited Zoo access) Includes 750 admission tickets
After hours 6:30-10pm (This includes access to Pachyderm and Pahali Ya Simba buildings only as well as front portion of Zoo grounds.
Up to 750 people: $5000
Addition of Toyota Elephant Passage access: $2000
Northern Shores (Zoo access includes Northern Shores, Tropical Discovery and Giraffe exhibits) Includes 500 admission tickets
Watch Denver Zoo’s polar bears enjoy the icy water and frozen shores of the arctic. Around the corner, harbor seals and California sea lions swim among the surf-washed rocks and bask lazily. Children will get in on the arctic action as they enjoy Denver Zoo’s newest interactive play area “Explore the Shore”. “Explore the Shore” includes an interactive water feature and two story viewing deck. This exciting event space will be sure to delight guests of all ages.

Zoo Exclusive!
Your guests will get to experience their own private Zoo! Saturday and select weekdays are available.

ALL arrangements must be made at least 1 MONTH prior to your event. All dates are on a first come first serve basis. If event is less than one month out please call for availability.
