Restrictions

• This encounter is for guests 12 years of age and older.
• Program fee does not include admission to Denver Zoo – admission tickets must be purchased separately.
•  Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paid participant that is 16 years of age or older.
•  Elephant Encounter will occur rain or shine.
• Denver Zoo reserves the right to re-route or cancel any tour due to animal health or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule you on a later date.
• You must check in inside the Boettcher Welcome Center 15 minutes prior to the start time of your adventure. The exclusive nature of this experience makes joining the group late not possible.
• All participants MUST have a paid ticket to take part in the encounter. Guests who have not purchased tickets will NOT be permitted to accompany paid participants for any part of the experience.
• This program is not recommended for persons with hay allergies.
• There is limited access for service animals in the elephant area. Please call 720-337-1400 to confirm.

Reschedule Fee

• Between 5 and 14 business days from your scheduled program date: $15.00 transfer fee per ticket.
• Less than 5 days before the encounter, changes are not permitted and payment is non-refundable. A fee of 100% will be charged for a missed encounter.

Cancellation Fee

• Between 5 and 14 business days from your scheduled program date: 50% of total program cost.
• Less than 5 days before the encounter, changes are not permitted and payment is non-refundable. A fee of 100% will be charged for a missed encounter.
