RENT THE ZOO

Rent the entire Denver Zoo for your next private event, social gathering, black tie gala or company appreciation party. You (and up to 10,000 of your closest friends) will have exclusive after-hours access to over 80 acres of Denver’s most visited attraction. Watch a private zip line tiger feeding, get a front row seat to watch the wonder of our all-male elephant show or smile uncontrollably during the cutest sea lion show you have ever seen. Your night wouldn’t be complete without a playful ride on the carousel, a picturesque zip around the park on the train or an amazing virtual reality ride in our new 4D theatre.

The Basic Full Zoo Buyout:

$15,000 (includes 1,000 admission tickets, carousel, train and 4D theatre)

The East or West Side Buyout:

$7,500 (includes 500 after hours admission tickets).  Ideal for groups of 200-500.

Half zoo rentals are also available.  Contact our team for more information.  Denver Zoo has access to approximately 1,200 parking spots for after-hours event.  Additional nearby off-site parking/shuttles are available (fee applies).

After hours comes alive at the Zoo.  Select from any number of event spaces and enjoy a night in the Zoo.  After-hours events are available from 5:30pm-9:30pm nightly.  Private zone access may require an additional fee.  Audio Visual is available in most event spaces.  Audio including microphone and speakers (and music) is $250 per event.  LCD projectors and screens are also available for $500 per event.  Should your event require in depth audio visual, we will require an AV technician through our audio visual partner (additional hourly fee).

Zoo Gardens Pavilion/Plaza/ West Side Package (indoor/outdoor plaza): $7500.

Rental includes 500 after hours admission tickets and the entire west side of the zoo.

Norgren Hall (indoors): $3750.

Rental includes 150 after hours admission tickets.

Gates Center Buyout (includes Norgren Hall and two studios): $5000.

Rental includes 225 after hours admission tickets.

Stingray Cove: $2000.

Rental includes 50 after hours admission tickets, private feeding and keeper talk.

Pahali (indoors): $1500.

Rental includes 40 after hours admission tickets and lion demonstration.

The Edge (outdoors): $1500.

Rental includes 80 after hours admission tickets and a tiger demonstration.

Harmony Hill (Bear Exhibit); outdoors): $1250.

Rental includes 50 after hours admission tickets and access to Tropical Discovery.

TEP Plaza (outdoors): $2500.

Rental includes 125 after hours admission tickets.  Subject to availability and may require east zone buyout.

*All facility rental rates are tax exempt.  A catering minimum spend per person is required for most events at the Zoo.  (Tax and service fee applies to all catering).  Full payment of rental fees is required at time of contract.  Additional tickets are $15 each unless otherwise noted.  After hours event rentals are available for up to 10,000 guests per event.  For large events, please consult our team and learn about our Rent the Zoo options.  Denver Zoo is a rain or shine facility.  Non-profit discounts are available to those who qualify.
