Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom at Denver Zoo

Remember when Sundays meant getting wild with Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom? Relive your nostalgia with Peter Gros, co-host of the original Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, at Denver Zoo on Sunday, Sept. 8. Gros will be celebrating Grandparent’s Day with meet-and-greet and photo opportunities for zoo visitors. Accompanying Gros will be a lineup of furry, feathered and scaly animal ambassadors from Denver Zoo.

Gros will be available for photo opportunities from 9-11:30 a.m. and 2-3:30 p.m. in the Giraffe Meadows at the Denver Zoo. Staff will be on-site to take free souvenir photos which can be printed, texted or emailed to participants. All Denver Zoo members and guests are welcome to come and meet Peter at no additional cost.

Gros has nearly 30 years of field experience with wildlife in zoos, including establishing breeding and rehabilitation programs for endangered species. On Wild Kingdom, he worked alongside the legendary Jim Fowler, traveling across the globe to bring conservation awareness to viewers.
