Women in Conservation Leadership Reception

Join us for an evening with Denver Zoo and National Wildlife Federation to celebrate the positive impact women make in the environment! Hear stories from a diverse, dynamic group of women, on how they redefine and expand the field of conservation. Talk with the conservation community, learn how women create change, and take action to support conservation in Colorado.

Two incredible women will be awarded the Maggie Fox Award and Kate Zimmerman Award, for their notable contribution to conservation.

As the primary users of natural resources around the world, women are full of vital knowledge about the environment – yet, are an untapped resource for conservation.

Denver Zoo and National Wildlife Federation have developed programs aimed at empowering women in the field of conservation. Together, they are collaborating to recognize and celebrate women in the field of conservation with the Women in Conservation Leadership Reception.
