Up-Close Look:
Reptiles

A safe + socially distanced reptile encounter for your pod

Join us for an exclusive meet and greet with our scaliest, slowest and slithery-est Animal Ambassadors: reptiles! With this special and intimate experience, you'll have the opportunity to "buy out" a reptile encounter for up to six members of your pod. You'll meet an assortment of Denver Zoo's most fascinating reptilian representatives—including snakes, large lizards, turtles, tortoises and more. You'll also get to learn from our knowledgeable animal care experts as they provide our reptiles with food and enrichment.

PLEASE NOTE: This experience includes exclusive interactions with animal care experts and the ability to see animals that live behind the scenes. Due to government-mandated safety regulations, guests will not have direct contact with the animals.

Restrictions

Masks are required for Up-Close Looks. Neck gaiters and bandanas are not accepted. For certain Up-Close Looks, Denver Zoo approved surgical masks may be provided for you for the health of our animals. For their safety, we are unable to provide medical exemptions at this time.
You and your group must be willing to use provided hand sanitizer throughout the experience.
Program is for up to 6 total individuals.  
All program participants must be at least 6 years of age or older. 
Program fee does not include admission to Denver Zoo – admission tickets must be purchased separately. You must have general admission tickets for the date of your experience prior to purchase. 
This experience is non-refundable and nontransferable. 
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paid participant that is 16 years of age or older. 
Denver Zoo reserves the right to re-route or cancel any tour due to animal health or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule you on a later date. 
This Up-Close Look will occur rain or shine. 
Plan to check in at the Zoo 30 minutes before the start of your encounter. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.  
There is limited access for service animals during this experience. Please call 720-337-1400 to confirm.
